Air Filter

Why is it important?
Air is drawn into the engine as a critical part of the combustion process. The engine air filter captures airborne contaminants such as dirt, dust and even bugs before they can enter the engine. A dirty, clogged engine air filter can contribute to poor overall engine performance.
Maintenance Interval?
The air filter should be replaced approximately every 9-12 months depending upon mileage, weather conditions and visual inspection. By not replacing a dirty air filter a vehicle will not achieve optimal mpg.

Cabin Filter
Why is it important?
The climate control system in your passenger cabin includes a filter element that helps remove dust, pollen, mold spores and other particulates from the air you and your passengers breathe.  Frequently, customers may complain about a sour or musty smell coming from their vent system.  This is usually indicative of a cabin filter that should be changed.
